Dive into the endless lineup combinations Boston can use in 2022-23

The Boston Celtics had by most accounts one of the best offseasons in the NBA, adding veteran forward Danilo Gallinari and former Indiana Pacers point guard Malcolm Brogdon via free agency and trade, respectively.

The fact that they managed to do so with a collection of players who rarely saw the floor in the playoffs left the Celtics’ entire core of players from the 2022 playoffs that took them within two wins of a NBA title has put the Celtics in an enviable position. The depth that Boston now has should not only help the team reduce the minutes of their best players throughout the 2022-23 regular season, but also provide the team with a dizzying array of options to play in terms of different trainings.

They can play very big or get by with small lineups, able to field small and large ball units alike. A team designed for a changing defense? Check. One built for shooting? Easy. Is the plan to put the opponent in a rotation cycle with a mix of passing and offensive skills? I understood.
